Cart Abandonment Issues? Remove the Exit Points

I’m not much of a gambler, but I have visited Las Vegas several times. What amazed me about Sin City was the size of the hotels and casinos. I had never been in buildings that took up two or three city blocks. Even more impressive, was how massive the casino floors were once you stepped inside. During my first trip I stayed at the MGM Grand and vividly remember getting lost on the casino floor one night and not being able to find the elevators to my room. And no, I hadn’t been drinking…much.

After days of Vegas fun, I finally figured out that the hotel used a different color carpet to create “trails” to help lead customers to the hotel rooms, lobby, restaurants and shops. These “trails” were very subtle and designed to blend in. (more…)

Kudos for Listening

As an avid coffee drinker and vegan (yes, you heard me… no dairy products by choice), I live for Starbucks, who offers soymilk as an alternative.

Starbucks caffeine addicts will tell you that few things beat the sweltering heat better than the sweet relief of one of their Frappuccinos.  When the hot summer days roll around I find myself wishing, hoping, praying and begging for Starbucks to find a way to make this holy-grail of coffee concoctions non-dairy.  For years there has been nothing but 90 degree days lacking cold, frothy, caffeinated beverages to break the heat.
