American Water, the largest investor-owned water and wastewater utility company in the United States, earned a prestigious REBRAND 100® Global Award for the launch of its new brand which included a 4,500 page website designed and developed by SilverTech.
This award is one of the highest juried competitions for excellence in branding. REBRAND™ the company providing the award is commonly referred to as a global resource for executive marketers to share, review and learn from successful brand transformations.
In a REBRAND™ interview with American Water, MaryBeth Vrees, Director of Marketing and Advertising for American Water, points out that SilverTech played a significant role in the online rebranding as a trusted partner and she quotes that website results have surpassed expectations. Specific statistics mentioned include:
- Average sessions per day were 33 times more in the months since the new website launch
- Average page views per day increased by nearly 10 times since the site was launched
- Customers using the new website increased by 114%
- Employees are proud of the new online brand and it has had a positive effect on company culture
